Well it's taken a few weeks but at long last we can see our sales of Bat & Ball Retro - Pong Included are starting to rise healthy, which is great that people out there are starting to take note. At the end of the day it’s only 99 cents but these days, especially with so many Apps out there, App users really think about what to spend their money on.  So thanks to everyone so far who has bought Bat & Ball Retro – Pong Included!  If you’re crazy enough not to have bought it so far while our SALE price is on you can get it from the App Store via the link below.

It’s very difficult to get your App to stand out from the crowd within the App Store so we’ve now changed the name from Bat & Ball Retro to Bat & Ball Retro – Pong Included.   If you search for Pong, Bat & Ball Retro – Pong Included (at the moment) is on the 1^st page … woohooo.  We’ve also done a bit of optimization for this site so if you open up Google and type in iPhone Pong this site should also come up on the 1^st page of search results.

Ok so what's the big deal about yet another iPhone Pong Game??  Well Bat & Ball Retro isn't just about Pong. You can also play Football, Squash and Squash Practice.

You can also change the background and foreground colors and even upload your own background.  As far as game play goes you can choose how many games (1 – 100) it takes to Win the match.  You can also play against yourself, the iPhone / iPod Touch or against a friend!  To speed things up you’ve got 3 choices of bat speed and 2 sizes of bat.

Ok getting people to find games like Bat & Ball Retro has just got harder as of today there are 50,629 apps on the AppStore!! 

No Free / Lite Version so we've reduced the price

Bat & Ball Retro contains a set of 4 great games and as we haven’t got a Lite  / FREE version yet we are going to reduce the price to 99c / 59p for the month of June to make it easier for people to try out!  You won’t be disappointed but if you are please get in touch with us and we’ll try and improve the game! 

Why do companies produce Free / Lite  Apps?  Well the problem that application developers face is that there are something like 47,000 Apps (a lot of them are cr@p .. or CrApps I guess ;-) ) out there at the moment.  It’s hard to make your App(even if they are the best Apps in the world) stand out from the crowd.  So with so much to choose from people tend to got for what is FREE first so companies produce Lite / Free versions to try and convince users into buying the full version.  The Lite / Free version usually contains limited functionality but just enough to get the user hooked.   If I’m honest I don’t really want to start disabling bits of functionality in Bat & Ball Retro just to get a Lite / Free version out there so hopefully now the price is low you will give it a try.  If you like it please tell your friends, if you don’t like it please tell us as we’ll try and make it beter.

Bat & Ball Retro

Version 1.0 has just been released for the iPhone & iPod Touch.  It not only contains the classic Pong / Tennis style game it also includes Football, Squash & Squash Practice.  Based on the Binatone TV Master version from the late 70's,  This version not only contains the same sort of games that we know and love but you can also change all of the colours and select a background image to play on from your album or camera roll.  You can play against yourself, a friend or even your iPhone or iPod Touch.
